Meetings
The Denton County Genealogical Society, Inc., meets on the second Thursday during the months of September to November and January to May. Meetings are held at the Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland, Denton, Texas. Social/get acquainted time with light refreshments, begins at 6:30 p.m. and a brief business session, followed by the program, begins at 7:00 p.m. We welcome guests and new members at all times. Come early, and do some research or just explore the Special Collections Department located in the historic Emily Fowler Central Library.

Membership
Membership is open to individuals, libraries, and organizations. Annual dues are $25.00 for individuals and $35.00 for couples. The membership year begins in June and expires the following May. Eight monthly newsletters are published each year.
Members are encouraged to submit articles, tips and tricks, as well as research finds to newsletterdcgs@gmail.com. Items will be included on a space available basis.
